Harry was a keen sailor and owned the first motor yacht on Brighton’s stretch of coast, the ‘My Lady Ada’. In April 1907 he co-founded the Sussex Motor Yacht Club and was later elected Vice Commodore.
The inaugural luncheon of the club was held at the Grand Hotel, Brighton, on Saturday 11th of May 1907 followed by a cruise and afternoon tea at Harry’s Royal York Hotel.
